Alan, sure

PM me where to send it. It is embarrassingly small (given that it is sometimes used for printing). I have a generic version with no year and a version with the year that we use on all of the event materials.

Those were not by any standard "normal people"

Obviously

No, they were normal people. There just weren't as many as now.

I am from southern CA, but my mom married a guy from middle Georgia (26 miles from Plains, during the Carter administration) and we moved there when I was going into 8th grade. (My mom still lives there.) During the summer of '85, going into my last undergrad year, I stayed at my mom's house and worked at my old high school. As the guy who was about to get a degree in Computer Science, any time anyone at the school (or any of their friends or any of my friends' parents or ...) had a computer question, they came to me.

Normal people were using the Internet then, but, unless they were affiliated with particular universities, it was through crappy services and interfaces until Al Gore "invented" the Internet by driving the changes that allowed it to be commercialized.

I know it isn't the Rallye of the Gods in Cyprus, but what about a Zeus-themed trophy? Or Pegesus wings on the sides of a rally tire, front-on view, like the Victory Tires (?) logo?

Btw, if you want/need help on the logo, I'm a graphic designer by trade, so I'm willing to help.

thanks Ben, I'll have to do a better google search when things are a little slower at work, right now all the pics coming up are too busy for my limited talents, but that's a cool idea

I'll try to sketch something up to give you an idea of what I mean.

Here's a rough, repeat, a ROUGH mockup of what I had in mind.

That's pretty cool, but I won't be able to get that much detail. An outline of the tire and an outline of the wings. Maybe a little tiny super easy bit of tread and maybe just the outline of the various layers of wings (but not all the feathers). And I wouldn't do any of the lettering, oh, that would be messy :p

here's an example of my level, lol

the wings on the one with "99"
