Olympus GPS Spectator Map

I thought I'd try something new for the Olympus rally. I created a geospatially accurate spectator map (similar to what I make for the printed maps). It shows the spectator map along with your location from your phone/tablet GPS.

If enough people find this helpful I'll continue to make them for the other rallies.

Instructions:
1. Download Avenza PDF Maps from your app store (iTunes, Google Play, etc)
2. Open the PDF Maps app and go to the "Store" and search for "Olympus Rally"
3. Select the map and press on the "Install Now" button. It will take a minute to download and convert the file.
4. Open the map. If you are in the area of the rally your location will be shown as a blue dot.

About three or four weeks ago I used this app for off roading in Moab. It's pretty neat.

John, beyond creating the image, what tool(s) do you use to embed the GPS info?

Yes, I can login to the backend of my Avenza store account and see how many people have downloaded it.

Lets just say it is depressing so far.
