STPR roads. will they use the same old roads?

Or will they mix it up. There's so many roads and configurations available and they seem to do the same old thing year after year here lately. Anyone have any inside scoop? Inquiring minds want to know.

This is the first year i'm not racing STPR in 4 years.... but I really wish they could find a way to add a stage between rattler and WM2; just to cut down on the wait for the turnaround.


I never got to run the 'cool' roads that I hear about from stpr I started racing too late.

I have no idea about their internal scheduling... but it's possible they _need_ that time for something else. Moving ambulances or volunteers? Again, no idea, but it's possible. Actually, probably not ambulances, I believe they leave those "on call" at their normal garages (for some stages).

Or they just don't have other roads to use. Or, other roads that wouldn't require an additional stage team. Dunno.

Grassroots rally. It's what I think about.

I dont think there are many roads that are usable/permissable in that area...
Rattler was also part of Ski Sawmill, wasn't it?

Here's an idea: dont let Kramer run those stages!

But if they use different roads SRTUSA won't have years of pace notes and might win by less than 10 minutes.

Rattler was part of Ski Sawmill. Rattler starts and ends as a township road with a bit of forest ownership in the middle I believe. The other Sawmill roads were township roads. Not much forest land in that area. Probably easier (grandfathered in) to get permission to use forest roads as opposed to township roads.
