Its true. Im not posting pictures of my melted cylinder heads or new roll cage build. This used to be a place for cool rally car stuff, not wierdo snark battles. |

You really need to stop taking yourself so seriously John. |
Al, I believe that it's cylinder heads. Plural, not singular Edit: dang it! You did say heads! I need to finish my first cup of coffee before I open my mouth. Also, this bickering is getting out of control and completely useless. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 06/05/2015 10:06AM by Robert Culbertson. |

There's nothing wrong with some google-fu, but it has gotten a little out of control. It's almost as bad as the regurgitation on turbobricks.
John, if you ever ventured into Calgary they would probably lynch you. I don't know how you upset so many Calga-rians, but you sure pissed them all off... somehow. I'm actually kind of impressed! |
No , No not all Calgarians . He is welcome in my home if he ever visits . He only pisses off the ones that he can see right through their bullshit and calls them on it , from my observations anyhow . Butt hurt tends to look a lot like pissed off , on the net . Face to face I'm betting the ranch none of them say shit to JVL hahahaa ( open invite to come up for a rally JUST to see them cower ) . Being proven how full of shit they are face to face or proven how little they think they know is much more painful in person than on the net . Some newbs seem to feel the need to challenge the ones with the most knowledge , not sure why . |

if the OP is still around -
I don't have any specific suggestions other than some of those old Ford Escorts make good rally cars I know I saw a bunch on Trinidad anyway! Trinidad has a pretty good rally, Barbados has a bigger event but that's a good swim from Curaçao. i don't know what the logistics of ocean freight for a race car between the islands are like down your way and the expenses involved, but transporting yourself to Trinidad next March would get you up closer to a real stage rally would allow you to talk to people involved in rally racing in the Caribbean and figure out what is needed to get involved yourself. Good luck in your search. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 06/08/2015 09:45PM by dirty_d. |

Thankyou sir, I'll definitely research it some more. I'm not sure what the freight charges are but if you take even Miami to Curacao, you're taking about tripling the price of the car. It would be a dream to have a Ford Escort mk1 but I've seen some old BMW's that seem like good project cars. |
