A professional driver racing at a professional level dieing from injuries sustained in the sport has some relevance to amateurs racing at amateur run events I'd think. It's a sobering reminder that when we take to the stages our lives can be changed by a single incident.

Not exactly on topic but not exactly off topic either.

Forum participation WORLDWIDE has fallen off drastically in the face of corporate shilling and the acceptance of one line airheadedness shit as "content"..

I'd ask for a source on this, but it is clear you are just projecting your own thoughts and prejudices. The reality is the constant arguing, bickering, and posturing seen by a few on here is what really drives people away. Mature adults can 'ignore' fluff posts.

or how about we just tie it to rally in some fashion

his great uncle Lucien Bianchi's first race event was at the Alpine Rally in 1951, so I guess he came from a rally family

still imo it belonged in the off topic section, but it's still sad

Yeah, but Rallytaff's wishing JVL's kiddies dead was a bit over the top.

Angry Welsh man waxes lyrical about tribalism and eugenics...

Homesick for the lush green valleys taff? It seems LA may have got to you.

There was no bickering and arguing.
I asked the imbecile "So?" as in "so what does this mean?"

Don't you have a country to sort out? It certainly looks like it!

Some people like to be kept up with the latest news instead of constantly hearing you bitching and moaning like an old granny. Perhaps you are one!
