2016 plans
October 25, 2015 02:15PM
So what's everyone's plans for 2016? We are hoping to get out to a few more events nationally. Definitely a big crew of us coming out for 100AW with Rally.Build supporting.
We'll be at whatever event the Lamborghini is at first to support those guys and try to maximize out return from the support we've given them.

Anybody around here planning on a full Rally America National Championship effort?

Hopefully driving my Corolla at least once. Even if it is to the store to get groceries it will feel like a step in the right direction.

Doing the full national championship with my laptop again, supporting clients.

And hoping Cascadia Cup is a thing again as I think that was a really cool deal.

I spoke too soon.

We are reviving the Colorado Rally Cup though it may be renamed.

taking rally hiatus #2 as the family grows. car will be sitting for a while or I'll just take it autoxing and have some cheap fun. should probably fix the R&P we blew at BRS first. I have a terrible idea about building a seven replica in the mean time. no real rally plans for the near future.

Anyone else should seriously consider one of the Rally Sport Ontario events in 2016. We really had a great time running up there.

Have always wanted to run SnoDrift

Ideal season would include:
Sno Drift --- because glare ice (will run gas powered car rather than toque maker)
Tennessee Tarmac --- because best roads
West Virginia --- because 25 mile stages at night on great roads
NEFR --- Because lots of competitors & Concord Pond
Cherokee Trails --- because even more bestererest roads than Tennessee Tarmac

So, 2.5 to 3 'ghost' events plus two others...

I never know what I'm doing next year by this time this year.

Statistically, I will be organizing one event, working three others, and competing in four.

I think just about everyone's plans for 2016 should include Big White Winter Rally, which is part of the Cascadia International Rally Cup - and an all around awesome event. (Still time to plan for 2015!)

My plan is to do that very thing! But not in my 2WD car, something 4WD. Probably my biggest goal of 2016 other than trying not to miss Idaho Rally again.
