Huh, all I get is "Need to install plugin".

YouTube embeds work just fine on other forums. Must try at home.

A few car specs here. Though I don't know how accurate they are, as I thought I saw a 6 on the gear indicator display, and the link states 5 speed tractive box.

http://www.kellymotorsport.net/#!about/cjg9

There is not much original Escort left on a lot of the high end cars these days.

Apparently it has been upgraded from a Tractive to the Samsonas box which as I mentioned in the other thread.

The two actuators arrived this morning.

NB. Safely delivered to my weeee cheery cottage up in Jockland. thumbs up
These days one prefers not to be described primarily as British, mainly due to the lack of comprehension some people display by conflating the term with the UUK.

30k krona?

That's a little over 3600 usd!

I'm no importing specialist, but after shipping and all the beurocratic blahblahblah, couldn't that be worth it? Under 10k, maybe?

To east coast (Newark NJ) from west coast (Göteborg) sea freight maybe $1200. Non runner add maybe $100-125 surcharge each side.Invoices and paper BS add a couple of hundred.
.Car is in Gnesta a little South-eat of Stockholm so has to gotten to Göteborg and so that is the only big unknown. US duty 2.3%

Of course a smrat person would cram inside a couple of spare windscreens ($75-80 each) and some fenders and grills and that kind of stuff, maybe some door skins ($30-35)...

Everything else can be sourced here (DURATEC!!!)(Toyota axle)(suspension duh!)

This is thats a MkII and all repaired. I have seen runner MkIIs way the fuck up North where Thomas K's housemate Graham Cullen went and on my recommendation did a year of college up round the Arctic circle..No salt ever--too cold. So I've seen 1300 road cars for $1000-1300.. Drive them to the docks.. Ship to NJ and drive home...
Easy.

Big unknown huh... If someone were really serious who do we know who regularly travels to within 140 Km of Göteborg, could fly into Stockholm and help the whole process go smoothly... Who?? Maybe this person would also do this in exchange for some seat time in said car.

Also this listing is 30 000 SEK for both cars.
