Would it be able to limp out to the Mid-west? Suddenly Jimmy needs some sheetmetal too, eh?
Make him a deal! He's a good guy even if he sold the nice Volvo he had..

Im sure we can make a deal, dont know if it can make it to the midwest... haven't tried to run it in years. Currently being stored "Off site" aka the great north woods of NH.

Matt, I guess Im not sure what really bad is? lol I was putting a quart of oil in every 3 stages so i guess that would be bad! It was a new engine I thru together last minute out of used parts to run this event. the rings evidently didnt seat correctly. I was running E85 for the first time and the engine tune was super rich so i may have washed the cylinders clean along with the break in period being the transit to the first stage. It also had oil dripping on the headers from a seal or something, couldnt really pin point the spot. It ran really really good so i guess it being loose wasnt so bad.

I figured you didnt see the red cross. I was just hoping some one would get you stopped before the actual wreck. The guy with the red cross must of moved after i went thru because he was real easy to see. He was kind of non enthusiastic about showing the sign. I stopped and asked what was up he said there was a bad wreck at the cattle guard jump and the road was completely blocked.

2nd stage the trans blew. Going into the third year and i've had my first actual GTX related issue. sad smiley

We're looking to have the GTX going again for the Summer Sno Drift in August.

If you are looking for parts I have a 323 GTX just sitting.

Jus sitting? A valuable car like that? One full of rare parts...Whoa now i see where you're going! Clever trevor! Sell the Maz-dog for millions, invest in the rally Xratty..WIN!

You're a fart smeller...or smart feller..or sumpin.

Just sitting, waiting for someone to love her, or take the motor and trans.

Ha! That WAS the spare trans... I actually have a parts car. Luckily I've got a couple of options that would upgrade the trans to be a lil more reliable... hopefully.

The one that came with the car lasted awhile but this one must have been ready to pop.

What I AM after though are axles and hubs and various lateral links, trailing arms, etc etc...

Unfortunately I've got a parts car behind the barn already otherwise i'd be all over it!

And while that Volvo served me very well on the mean streets of NYC and the occasional rallycross. There was no way i'd get that thing back to MI.

I certainly had fun! I was one of the asshats in the black party bus with #busstuff written on the back.

It sucked to see so many wrecks, especially bad ones, however everyone walked away so that is awesome. Nick Roberts had another mechanical this year, but the new livery looks sweet!

He said he was having a great time, everything going fine until...
Well he said he has a front clip ready to stick on..
Howza you doing? Go and nudge the car with your toe (your car)?

Was that the Volvo? Talked with codriver or crew guy a bit but driver wasn't around at Parc on Friday when I was looking at the car. The car looked very nice, simple and clean.

Here's some onboard from our front running car, Bis/Chiarelli in Open Light Impreza.
This was 3rd fastest, 3.5 back from 2nd, 30 back from 1st (Pritchard).

Speaking of Pritchard. Here's stage 14 from him.

Fastest Open Light by 1:05. 3rd overall, about a minute behind Higgins/Pastrana. Gotta get down to 12th to find the next non-turbo car. Impressive stuff. The section starting around 2:30 was particularly fun to watch.

I got some photos of the Mason Volvo during parc expose in Steelville They were seeded right behind us (in the bright yellow Suzuki). It was CLEAN, looked like a brand new paint job.

I got only one video of them at stage 1 when they plowed the corner a bit hard, not nearly as hard as the silver Sonic though!

I saw the results of the 244 on the instagram thingy, not exactly what you want with a fresh build.

Speaking of fresh builds I keep eyeing this 740 wagon shell I have and thinking about how awfully bad I want to get out and race. The other part of me is thumbing through classifieds looking for a quicker solution. I got hundreds of feet of DOM, and all the equipment to cage the shell, just got a bunch of customers that take priority.

I spent most of my time explaining things to some fresh eyeballs who had never seen a rally before, a couple of them didn't know that it existed in North America.

Not sure how much this one remembers, but he certainly had his fair share of fun...

What instagram thingy?

And where are these vids?

And come on you're not from Portland are you? You don't have to try so hard to be ironic, so leave the wagon idea.. wagons are for hauling small loads of junk-n-stuff.
You can find a sedan..

DO IT!

Lol, actually raised on Camano Island, the only advantage to the wagon is that its there, and finding a sedan involves buying another car, in which case a 2 series it will be. That is if I build a car, either way, I'm out of college and its time to focus on rally!
