I have dealt with Andrew Thompson before.. The name is appropriate ATM...
He'll sport with your ATM car once he has the number..For example
a) quadrupling the prices quoted once the card number is sent
b) 3 to 4 times the post saying "Post and packing"
c) putting VAT on the post
d) putting VAT on export out of EU zone...

Then abusive and threatening emails and refusal to refund even when fax is in hand saying "send it back I'll refund the card"..and postal receipts show delivery back.

Andrew Thompson ran several spoof names on ebay---all to same place place in Whitam, Essex---because his feedback got so many brutally negative comments..
.Naturally every single unhappy customer were all "numpties" or something ...
Credit card companies and banks did nothing.

Andrew Thompson and ATM in its various guises (ATM or ATM Sport) are notorious in the Cosworth world in UK....so this is guy and anybody associated with ATM or if he finds a co-conspirator in this side, should be avoided.

I have to agree about their prices.
Bought from them three times, first two was Ok but I asked them to never send without sending a final invoice, and the next order they send anyway and since they have the credit card number they just charge whatever the fuck they wanted. They give me some prices on some boring bits and then
a) nearly quadrupled their prices over their quotes
b) charge 4 times for Parcelforce sending the things to the US according to Parcelforce web site
c) charged VAT on all this inflated prices for export to the USA after previously correctly no charging VAT on export to Non EU country. And added the VAT to the parcelforce charges!
d) and this is the pisser: fucked about with returns and crediting my card back for over a year
e) never did credit the £250 deposit on a thickwall diff when I demanded it back when they showed themselves to be dishonest cowboys.

They charged like £45 for a used intermediate plate between the gearbox and block, I had ordered 4wd, they sent 2wd, They cost around £12.80 new.
charged £27 for used scaper seals for top on 41mm Bilstein struts, new around £4 according to Gartrac
Charged some stupid price for a 4wd LHD turbo heatsheils which just ahppened to be a rhd 2wd.
Some stupid price for a fuel rail and pressure regulator as GpA which was a standard bit soldered up.

Their excuse after stonewalling and lying like the sacks of crap they are was "Well we really don't have to credit you anything as that business has ceased trading"
To which I asked wot the fook is the difference? Same name, same address and same phone numbers!!!???
"That was ATM, this is ATM Sport Ltd"

As to prices "parts are worth whatever a person is willing to pay for them.."

I sorta tried to remind the bastard that I was willing to pay the quoted prices for the correct parts and the correct Postal charges.

Great fuck as person around for over a year and then say Who us? I'm not the same Andy Thompson you talked to at the same number last year....

And this geezer Lee Pain is obviously a close friend or close associate who is constantly on the RSOC board listing ATM bits on the normal non-trader section, and writes me a note saying I'm some sorta lying scum and threatening me with legal action when I made a comment about their trading practices, can't get to private messages there or I'd post it here.
I say fine, if your fucking useless fucking Courts would actually do anything, maybe I'd get me thickwall diff or my £250 back.

Same shit now..The guy is pathological, or psychopathological.

Its a shame cause if he didn't fuck with people and lie (calling bone stock road car parts "Group N" and non-homologated parts Group A, and didn't jerk around with post he could have sold a lot more stuff...a LOT more. But like a lot of greedy scum he's too stupid to be smart.
