That's an interesting point. I wonder if Rally America realizes at the end of the day, competitors will compete on COST/TIME/AVAILABILITY. They want the organization with the MOST events (availability), CLOSEST to them (time), for the least MONEY (entry fees, plus the time). I sincerely doubt anyone is going to go "oh, organization X has 3 events close to me, but I don't like them, so I am going to tow an extra 1000miles for 3 events in organization Y" It is plausible, just not probable. |

Maybe they just broke into the stash of liquor they had set aside for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year and are all falling down drunk..
Makes sense. Fantasy filled schedule. They are very sloppy at it but what they primarily are is hucksters. Promo guys.. If there was substantial reduction of their ridiculous entry and sanctioning fees--- Logig says a huckster would be all over it. NEW new NEW LOWER!!! FREE! Nope. And whaddya expect--anybody read that oh say any of them got a job or something? Nope. By and large, competitors don't give a rat's ass about the sanctioning body beyond license costs. There're about eight or nine parameters that affect people's decisions - location, date, length, road type, who's going, who's organizing - and sanctioning body is just about the last thing. Of course, that's not true for the 10% who're looking for some kind of national show with TV exposure, and it's not true for the 10% hardliners like Spalinger and Wages, but the other 80%? Rat's ass, I tell ya. Self-righteous douche canoe |

I don't know much about their wyoming event, but here's the stage I'm hoping for for my wyoming event.

Okay so Sno*Drift just posted their early entry fees and its $899 (cash) for both days. Can someone tell me what passed events cost for both days? With the subtraction of these two, we can generate a possible price scope for the other rallies and confirm if prices have been "lowered" or nah.
Be excellent to each other |

I just went through the 2017 and 2016 sups last night and posted on facecrack about it. $450usd reduction. But I may be mistaken.
Are you including the $500 (only available to the first 10) Subaru entry discount? Edit- That's a weird way for you to word it "both days". Sure, both regionals are $1050 last year. The national event dropped by $450 though. So a $150 reduction in the regional, and $450 reduction national. Doesn't make up for losing the contingency for some, but drastic reduction for others. I don't give a two flying shits about Subarats ass about there contingency, I rally a 25 year old car. I care about the entry fee and how much is it going to cost me to tow. Other then that, I care about how many of my friends show up. At the end of the day I want to be able to afford a cold beer.
