Anybody else jumping on this? Don't want to snipe, but it's a lot easier than the best I've got going right now (pull it myself from very rotted car at Holland in Massatwoshits for $150.

Ummm, I guess I ended up snagging it. I went super lowball, but even with ripoff shipping, it's about $30 less than Holland. Hope I didn't step on anyone's toes, but I couldn't let that slip away that cheap!

Thanks, John! Sorry, Matt.

John, how much for the adaptor kit?

Hey Andrew, if people would have telephone numbers I could have called him and told him to bid.
This one is very likely a 3.9 ratio, it seems manual non-turbo and automagic turbos are the 4.3 cars, manual turbo gets the 4.3. Still its better than anything else BUT the 4.3
You could use a 3.37 first gear box like a Typ9 of Moooos-angst V8 86--> normal box
but what the hell.
Lets send Matt a note and see if he can pick it up and send it to you by FedEx Ground, should be way cheaper than UPS.

The drive shaft adaptors are about 35 each, the diff mount should be about 85, and we need to modify the drive shaft flange thing for the Ford bolt circle.

The rear beam needs doubling up as you know and my thought is that if we have to make doublers for the trailing arm mounts, and a modded thing to mount the diff and double skinithe beam by plasma cutting donor beams, it will be easier just to make a run of square beams. The square tubing is already at the sjhop, we've made a jig to hold positions and now its just to cut out the mounts and notch the beam, I went by yesterday to "encourage" the boys a bit, will drop in again Tuesday.

We'll have to see on the 4.3 vs. 4.1 vs 3.9 thing. No matter what, I can now just slap the 3.6 XR4x4 one in the street car so I can have fun in the dirt.

Will have to call you to figure out the $$$ for the adaptors and finish the strut deal. Also I'll have to see what I have around for beams. Not sure what "made it" after all the parts moving around over the years. I think I may be down to one spare. But a square beam would be nice.

Hoooookayy. But I haven't yet seen a 4.1 despite what some of the owners claim.

Still. 3.9 is OK, it'll do when you go to Canadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
