And another with carbon fiber

Another box seems pretty common.

And another from rallyusedparts.co.uk

I'm not that enraged by having to build another box, I guess.
I'm just not sure why the box I've got isn't good enough!

This one will not pass, the fuel pumps are not in a lead lined box covered with Unobtainium.

Just passin' through. smiling smiley I'm not geographically or financially suited for stage rally, at least not to fit my psychological profile. I need to race at least once a month, right now I could just afford to maybe make one event 2 or 3 years from now, and RA foreseen ruling changes put things further from reach. Screw that, I'll get my fix rallycrossing, or go back to twice weekly at the dragstrip if that's what it takes.

Yeah, that kinds bothered me too, but at least they seem to have reinforced the edges of the floor to blunt things. I'm just amused that after all of the going-on about how "EVERYONE ELSE does it this way so we have to too!" this picture from two weeks ago comes up, and the car was rallied just last weekend to boot. (Piccies up on website, video too!)

It's just more ass-covering (the ol' blame-shift game) typical of this country that ends up... eh, the rant's been done enough times. smiling smiley

None of the above pics are legal...bummer cuz they sure are pretty. If any of you own these better get 'em fixed up right away. Another box is quite common WHEN THERE IS ONLY A BLADDER UNDERNEATH. I bet none of those have a FIA FT3 spec box under them.
