Anyone attending?

I'll be there with the rust bucket stupra. Tires are bad brakes are way worse, limited slip rear is good...my setup is optimal.

Spank it wikkid haaahd! If I manage to get fired tomorrow I'll be at Tim's Saturday, so I doubt I'll be up there. Of course I got Sunday off this week, go figure. If you stay in the throttle several hundred meters after the finish, just tell Tim the Merkur gods told you to do it!!!!

Why do they have to do this crap at bullshit hours of the morning?

I'm never gonna make it. We'll...I'll make it, if I don't fall asleep driving.

Hahahaha.

Huge sideways action on the skidpad part of the course including the finish line. Lots of left/right. One of the Oneil instructors was cheering, pretty funny. Took out 9 cones on one run because I went up and back down the turnaround at the top of the hill ass out. All i heard the whole way was THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP from cones going off the right rear quarter panel. No time to straighten it as I was setting up for a cone-killing third gear blast down the hill.

One of the NER-SCCA guys (tim) looked like he swallowed his tounge when I told him I had extended the skidpad drift into the timing light drift by dumping the clutch on the fly as I went from right to left. He had just finished telling me a lot about left foot braking. He said I should take the oneil class quick, lol.

One of the group 2 golfs that was for sale I think on special stage showed up there, that yellow one from Oregon. The guys driving it never seemed to really open it up.

Ummm, yeah, LFB in a rear drive. I can buy into some of that dogma with a FWD or AWD car (here's where JV says Stig or Ola Stromberg or somebody says LFB is unnecessary, for pooftas, etc...which there is some truth to), because I can make it work. But man, after driving some underpowered FWD crap and getting back into my black XR4, I accidently found myself trying it and nearly ate a bunch of guardrail.

There's only one pedal that matters in rear drive rallycross, that's the big one on the right.

Glad you did your best to promote the "Spirit of Fiasco" at TimO's!
