I was reading my new Rally World magazine that I got from my girlfriend for her birthday and came upon a very impressive statistic. At Finland this year, Gronholm was flat footed in 6th gear for a single sustained burst of 46 seconds on the Ouninpohja stage. Holy no lift! 200 kph on a rolling golf cart path in the woods-that's crazy.

Was that the part where he averaged 170km/h? I finally got aroudn to watching the Finland feed last night, so it seems familiar.

having been there and seen it live (i didnt know there as an actual yellow house!) i can tell you it's a great rally. but it's not that much fun to spectate. they go so fucking fast that you gotta find correct spots, the parts where they slow down. i had posted a home video (with music) of my time in there in 04. we hit some great spots that year..... last year, it was proven that finns arent good rally guides. these people took me to shitty spots. i bet it'd be a fun rally to actually compete in!
