I wonder how the mission statement would be on the RA page perhaps something like this;

......................
Our mission statement:
RA is a sanctioning body created to encourage the growth of it's own wealth.

We love money! Everything about it: the shennanigans on the forest road permits, the camaraderie of elite friends, the sound of more money, and the smell of money! We hope to spread our empire from coast to coast! We believe that getting new people involved as racers and volunteers is one of the most important things we can do to make more money. Give us a call if you want to chat about money!

RA provides a sponsor driven organization offering boring, biased competition.

We will even lose money to offer cheaper insurance to organizers to divert them from NASA until NASA gives up on rallying, then we will jack up the insurance costs to like $15000 per regional event.

Blah Blah Blah
......................

Capitalism at work. You should be a business consultant.

Luckily, I don't think NASA will give up, and the more RA alienates competitors, the more competitors will move toward NASA.

I have nothing against capitalism, hell I rally thanks to capitalism. The way RA is conducting business is plain ass shamefull. I have nothing against clean competition but hitting under the belt is not kosher in my book. NASA people are too honest and too nice, they are really doing their best to support the grassroots rallyists, I hope they don't get cold feet from the RA schemes and lose interest in rallies.

Well, Mustafa, I can assure that NASA on the end of the country is not giving up. It's easy to stay the course when you believe that what you are doing is good for many, many competitors.

Keep your chin up. Things like this have their ups and downs.

Mark B.

Hell Mark,

I got myself in enough trouble than I can remember for keeping my chin up.
I stay the course and I don't waiver, ever.

I have been rallying in seven continents for quarter of a century and living stuck to my standards all my life, I'd be damned if I give up now. As far as I see we need NASA and their support, as much as they need ours.

Me and my group will not run RA events and we'll do everything we can to run as many NASA events as possible.

Must of our members can just go run events around the world but we don't, wanna know why ? Because we live here, this is what we call HOME and we'd be damned if we let a few short termers screw it up for everybody.
