Yo Al! If the k-cam doesn't make it up to Seattle, I am possibly interested if it's up for sale. I still need to talk with my local cam grinder to see what he has too.

What about persons who want time in the seat without a steering wheel?

Well they'd have to pass rigorous battery of tests to see if they's wuz worthy!
The first test is: Pulse. They should have a pulse.. If they don't have a pulse, then test to, the last chance test, they must be able to fog a mirror held up to their nose. Fogging a mirror shows definitively that they still have some metabolic activity going on..

Then they must swear--or affirm!-- that they have never puked ever in their life for any reasons whatsoever...

Finally those must swear--OR AFFIRM!!---that they can get LEFT or Right correct 50% of the time...

They pass these rrrrrrrrrrrrigorous tests, then what could be the problem?

So, this car is being made to drive via Remote Control, with no occupants actually in the car?

A shared car like this would be great for RallyX use.

Multiple people could drive it in the same event.

Whats the pratical co-driver limit for Rally-X?

It depends on the event. I have seen 8 drivers share a car at the THSCC Rally-X. You need to have a reliable car and people will need to allow it to cut in line almost constantly to get the runs mixed in and not have to wait for the shared car at the end of the session.

Reliability is the key since if one person debeads a tire or slams the thing into a rut and tweaks something it will affect a bunch of people at the event.

Is this idea still alive?
I've got a lead on a '78 volvo 240 for $400. Good looking enough body, but engine not currently running. Sounds related to the fuel system. It also supposedly has the old RSport gauges in it, so that's cool.
I need another project like a bullet in the head (or my face eaten off), so let me know what drive way I should drop it off in.

I am still interested in moving forward, and I assume Kevin's car is still good to use. I personally have been focused on finishing my own car, and expet to move on the club car at the end of summer.
