Wild West 2012
February 17, 2012 12:50PM
Forspring is looking for interest in WW in Pomeroy. His anticipated date is June 30th and it would be a one day possibly 60 mile event. Rally America sanctioning is being considered. He'll need competitors and some volunteers. I'm guessing 20 cars would be needed. This is in pretty close proximity to both Idaho on 6/09 and Merrit 6/16 ..not to mention the 4th of July holiday....

Thoughts?

I'd have to see what needs to be fixed after Idaho.....could drop the car in Pomeroy on the way back from Idaho if there isn't much to do on it, LOL.

I would be nervous working an event with Forspring in charge. My last experience was bad.

Also North Nevad is pretty close. It's too close to Idaho for me BUT I know Dick Rockrohr likes that event so I'm sure he would show.

Gotta love a dreamer winking smiley

Wild guess entry would need to be $500 plus. Now that is an under educated guess....

I also think it'll take a solid 20 car field to make it happen, again a guess.

PM? it's public knowledge:
2007 S 126th St
Seattle, WA 98168

Go North on 509 to the S 128th exit.
At light, turn R or east, drive past DesMoines Memorial Drive 2blks to
20th Ave S.
Turn L or North drive 1 blk to S126th
Turn R and pull over at 1st house on Right..

Park and wander back...there should be a blue Xratty, a maroon Xratty, a red Saab 96 rally car and possibly a black Xratty...

If there is, then you have the right place...
In the meantime you can ponder these juicy parts:

I'd have to ask my friend Seana if she'd be interested in volunteering and if she is then I am. Though really I think we were hoping to make it to either north nevada this year or somewhere else (not sure yet). We've been trying to hit up one "new to us" event every year.
