bad day
February 21, 2012 12:56PM
My DD burned down this morning, Here are the pics. Good news is all the good stuff should carry over to the rally car.
Kind of embarrassing considering my profession, but I didn't wire this car so i can't take credit. But I really don't think that it was related to any of the modifications done to the car anyway.

The wife's a4 but it should be pretty simple to get the red car running as I can just start swapping parts instead of fabbing stuff

Looks like it only affected the factory harness. All the good stuff is very usable and it will give me a chance to upgrade the megasquirt to give me spark control. Any issues with tearing it apart before the insurance company gives the go ahead?

Don't touch it until they say so. Car should be totalled, they will decide and then you can discuss buying the salvage.

I called on that car, and almost went and snagged it. Glad it went to a good home, and you should have stopped by for a beer.

But water doesn't burn.tongue sticking out smiley Seriously, bummer about the car, and glad no one got hurt. Everything short of that is manageable.
