Hey Lurch, no you're being smart.
You positioned yourself in a job which allows you to make those vital internal conections and those are the ones which brings in substantial results.
Trying to peddle rally results to sponsors....yeah, right.

Hey I don't think I have need for flame cut cause I have a guy 3 miles away who cuts stuff so cheap it's crazy, but I have a friend who might, send me details of like what sort of "valuta", rasbuckskins, dinarii you thinking.

And damn I'm trying my best to sell that VW!!! And get the Himes boy out here.
Lurchie, go tell him to check in here.

Oh I got like 12-13 on this silly test, but some were guesses.

Its a Victor thing. The shop is a few hours north of me, so I don't have any pics. Got dad a digital cam so maybe he can snap one.

Have no idea what they are worth.

He got it out of Kustom Headers when they went out of business. Pop used to design the headers for all the Nascar boyees. Junior Johnson, Cale Yarborough, etc.

I digress.

I'll see if he can get piccies and an idea on price.

Thanks,
Lurchipoo

Optical flame cutters are so lo-tech and cool.

This thing isn't even optical. It has a motorized head that has a magnetic roller. The roller rolls over the edge of the pattern part and traces the part. Looooooow tech. There is a speed control on the motor. Very neat little package really.

It's cut thousands of header flanges for Chebbys, Fords, Fiats, Fieros, Maseratis, Buicks, etc., etc.

With waterjet and plasma so cheap now, it is hard to justify, I admit.

about Buchi.... he did "invent" the turbo in '05 but it wasnt used in a functioning engine till 1911 i think. well, at least, that's what i remember so i got the question right.
