WRC to date (mexico)

This years WRC is turning out much better than last years.. if Subaru gets more of their shit in one water proof bag there will be 5-6 potential winners of most rallies.. which will be a lot more exciting.

Subaru getting their shit together and Hirvonen rocking out is going to make this year much more interesting. Can't wait for next year, Mitsu comes back and Suzuki will be in the full wrc with the sx4!

Maybe then Galli and Gardermeister can get decent drives. Burns me a bit that Gardermeister can't get a drive but Matthew Wilson can because daddy owns the team. Wilson apparently was supposed to replace Duval as the guy in the WRC everyone laughs at.

For sure. More makes and more competitive drivers in competitive cars can't hurt.

Don't think I'm defending Wilson. But he's just a bloody kid right? 20? Did he have any real experience before daddy put him in that wrc car?

If he ever catches on he'll rock the wrc for quite some time.

Wilson ran the British Rally Champion ship for one or two years in an ex-WRC focus supported by M-Sport. So he basically had the best car in the series, and did win it.

The thing is, Wilson should be in the fiesta cup, or JWRC. But since Ford doesnt run in the JWRC, or Super2000, or Group N, and I guess the fiesta cup is beneath him, Wilson got a ride in a full WRC car. Last season he held the record for time penalties, and it was some horribly high number compared to the driver in second.

Still, he's even a poor duval replacement. At least duval went out in spectacular crashes from overdriving. Wilson just goes out in spins. Seriously, when have you seen wilson burn his WRC car to a crisp?
