John, the whole premise for the car was bad choices. Don't think we'll be going 4-bolt any time. Just redid the 5-bolt brakes with the oddball front discs with their wierd twisting calipers.

But you should see the 3-choke Porsche Weber carb I'm putting on it before the next event. Mohr Powah!

Ya know there's 2 other cars that use those wierd ass things and I have owned them: Austin 1100 aka Austin America over here, and Datsun 510.
Yeah! stock 510 is the same thing except smaller...

As for triple IDA downdraft, you betcha.
just add some reed valves off a big 2 stroke moto-cross bike between the carb and block. Instant load sensitive variable intake event timing..
That is what the ringdinger Saab was lacking. Spent a month at Saabs engine builder from '59 thru '80 was back after a divorce and we talked a LOT about reeds cause he wasn't experienced with the real workings and I was many years 2 stroke guy--like build my stuffs when I was racing for a living..
He was really stoked in the idea. You should look into it.

Sorry this took a while but we have a 3 piece center that can accommodate 5x170 or 5x205. We can use reinforced rim halves for gravel rally or our regular rim halves for tarmac rally, track or street use.

Price for 5x15 gravel would be $542 and for 4.5x15 regular $464 each

We can do that Albert. What sizes and offset? How many and where are they going?

We have a stock order going in shortly. Would be the most ecconomical approach.

What's the offset range on that Dakar wheel for a 15x5?

I have no doubt they are good wheels, just more than I would want to spend. I remember spending about $230 each for my Speedline 2118 wheels, so 250ish is round about where I'd want to be.

I understand John. They are not cheap but the PCD is out of range for our 2118 equivalent (or better) wheel. Can't drill holes where there's no metal.
