Anyone there? Awful lot of bigtimers went out. Heard the conditions were good. Everyone distracted by thoughts of x-games fame or just alot of bad luck?

Road conditions were good. Some loose stuff but the clay sections stayed dry so wasn't typical STPR slippy. 2 last stages were dusty for us as there was no wind after dark. Had to switch to low beams only several times. 2 rolled cars on final stage. Heard others say they encountered fog.

Finishing percentage was better than OregonTrail, though stage milage was less.

Sarasin sure kicked some ass. 8th overall in his focus, I saw he had a 7th OA stage time too. I heard he had to make a quick exit so he could hop on a plane back to the UP so he could graduate high school!

I didn't think that the rate of attrition was particularly high. Better than 50% finished. Of course, we lost 40 something stage miles, when SS7 and SS10 got cancelled. Rumors of leaded race fuel being sold as well, but I don't know of anyone being taken out by it.
