Dear Sir. You lucky bastids. You come and taunt us wif more wonderful and spiffy cars in your classic event than we get in our little "National Champignonskit" events total. I hate you. There has to be some explanation why youse galoots, you sodden lager swilling Yobs can somehow find and put together all those car when all I hear from Americans ---and don't ever forget that Americ is always No1---all I hear is "I can't find any 1988-or 1992 or whatever ___________ where i live" and not only do you put them together you go out and pound the piss out of them and crash the poor innocent cars.. You are cruel lot!
How is it that a country which is 98% wasteland, empty, and 23 million people can put together that many nice cars when 312 million here can come nowhere near it.
You must be doing some naughty--especially considering the gallons of beer you guys must drink to keep the black flies away--or keep your consciousness of the black flies dimmed enough..fawkin flies.

Did you guys collectively strike a deal with the Devil?

I say if you come here and taunt us you must post MORE piccies of the cars in action---I have contacts down there--just sent yet another set of rods and forged piston to a guy... It'd be a real shame if sumpin was to get broken, eh guv?
So come on action shots!!!
(lucky bastids!)

I'm surprised John, we have always been told that the 'land of the free and home of the brave' is the place we should aspire to emulate, now you've burst that balloon I guess we better just go it alone and keep doing what we've been doing.....

Seriously tho here's another pic of a Nissan in action that for a time led the event till hitting a stump early on day 2.
And another one of Germany's finest.

I'll keep looking in the archives here, sure there's a Mustang somewhere......

This is one of my favourite pics from last year, Alister McRae about to cross the timing beam at the end of the street stage in Lakes Entrance and intrpid photographer Paul Mollison doing what he does best.
