I start at 25 cold, and try to aim around 26 hot on BFG's.

No swaybars all around on the Legacy. Pretty happy with how our first STPR went, despite an axle blowing halfway through stage 14.

I'm going to try 26 front / 27 rear at Magnum, I've always ran 28/29 as tested at the facility I can throw those things sideways flat out over pretty nasty gravel and any fluffy stuff and worst case just scratch them up a little its awesome lol But I've got shit stuck in the tire bead before at lower pressures and I used to roll tires over on the neon in fluffy stuff at 26PSI, happened at magnum 2 years ago, but I drive like a COMPLETE asshole especially in that thing with even less experience lol I barely keep the car on the road after 4 years lol well in my defense the beast I'm attempting to drive now kind of refuses to go straight and loves a good 10 mile dance with her ass out... I was never much on the dance floor lol Conte any chance you'll be joining BRAKIM and HUEBBE AT MAGNUM!!!?!??!?

Naahhhh on magnum. Too far away and too little mileage to justify the costs. The huebbes might be renting my Legacy for Ojibwe, and looking like the next event for me will be either LSPR or Perryville, depending on if Perryville is a go.

You can't change a serpentine belt (with an idler) in 10 seconds. I bet if John had the belt and the allen wrench in his lap I could do it in under a minute. But sometimes you want to stop and investigate *why* it broke. I've only had one other belt failure and it was due to a rock getting between the lower pulley and the belt, which happened in 2007. However, I do carry TWO spare belts in the car.

If it was that easy. smiling smiley What was left of the belt was melted rubber, rubber dust, and 1" long pieces of belt thrown around the engine bay.
