The Oregon Rally Group has this event on their calendar for September 20th in Washougal WA. Does anyone know anything about this?

I talked to Louie yesterday. Rally is happening September 20th. Located near Washougal, Wa. ~45 miles, low entry fee. Central service area. No transits. He's been keeping it quiet until he could sort out sanction and insurance, but it sounds like that will be figured out soon. Pretty cool!

from Oregon Rally Group's facebook page
The LouieLouie Rally is going to be a one day off road stage rally sprint on two gravel logging roads totaling 41 miles for the Fall event..

... on Nov. 15 this year. The second LouieLouie Rally is on Feb 21st on two other Washougal roads... It's LouieLouie Rallys (meaning same event names but Fall & Spring)... I'll have a FB page up for this soon and update the ORG page site.

... At this point it will be $165, if we get 20 entries... If we get 30 entries, it will be $140. The max car entry is 30 cars as promised to my land/road owners. I will publish the rest of the details soon.

... we will be opening up reg for competitors on October 3rd as I see it... I will have an official announcement here shortly.. Monitor the LouiLouie FB Page starting on Tuesday... First come....

That is awesome and what I think we need more of. Like 4-5 a year.

I'm looking into one. Found some private roads/land on my end of the state. Hopefully something in the snow. My personal life has become excessively busy though.

I wonder if Drew would Co drive again.

The Louie Louie Rally will have its first one day stage rally event on February 14, 2015 in Washougal, Washington. (More specific time/course event details to follow at a later date). This event will also run again in Washougal in the Fall on second weekend of November 2015. This event information is intended to provide the event information that is currently available.

Event Info:

Will be held on 2/14/15 out in Washougal, Washington on old gravel logging roads (McCoulsky Creek & Mabee Mines roads). There will be a shared services area for both stage roads. The roads will be ran twice / one in each direction. It will be a one day rally sprint with a 30 car entry maximum. The entry fee will be $250 and requires any valid racing license. The event will be sanctioned via USORG, llc and has nearly the identical event/course rules and insurance coverage's you have experienced with other local rallies here in the PNW.

Rallydata volunteer registration for the event is set up already, just waiting to go live with it in mid December. Open registration for the event date will be the first part of January.

More info to follow,,,,,,,,

That meets my personal definition for "cancelled" then.

My definition of "cancelled" is "it was put on a calendar or announced for a particular year, but it didn't happen that year". Why not infinite pushbacks? Well, for my notes, I want to be able to look back later and see "Event X _was_ scheduled for december 2014, but cancelled, but then happened in feb 2015". In general I think that's a truer record of what happened than "Event X took place on Feb 2015".

I'll put the new date on my calendar, I hope they have some fun racing in 2015. smiling smiley
