Irony
December 31, 2011 10:40AM
I wished I had a picture...last nite on the way to Olympia, seriously dusk, was a frickin Prius driving with no exterior lights. It was near pitch dark. Several oncoming cars flashed their lites, the guy behind him flashed him, we flashed him while passing him (oddly enough he was in the slow lane unlike most Prius drivers) and wifey saw his dash lites were on. I hope the SOB didn't get hit and kill someone while saving the environment, frickin Prius...hope he got a ticket and towed.

If it has one of those trendy dashes where you can't see it until it lights up, and therefore it's ALWAYS lit up lights on or not, the guy might have not even known that his headlights were off.

"Wow, everyone's high-fiving me with their headlights! Driving a Prius makes everyone feel good!"

Prius drivers aren't allowed to be drunk?

At least he wasn't going the wrong way down the interstate...that seems to be a favorite trick of drunks around here.

The Prius driver was probably just preoccupied listening to the NPR segment on the latest developments in carbon-neutral, fair trade, and guilt-free soybean crops being planted in western Oregon.
