I put this here for the 'Rumors'

Watch Ken Block Hoon the All-New AWD Ford Focus RS - Car and Drive

I've seen some places sharing the video, this is the only one that outright calls it AWD.

Do you believe it?

Who knows... It'll be 10 years though before they let galoots like you or me sit in one...
Gonna be spendy.

And when we could maybe afford one they'll be plumb wore-d-did out...

For sure, but the sooner they get here, the sooner they get old.
Maybe around the time the last of the 240 V's turn to dust they'll be affordable grinning smiley

Looks like we will find out Feb 3. My guess is that it will be Evo / Sti money.

Yes at least Evo/STI $$$ I'd reckon.....

Unfortunately probably not Evo/STI availability I'll bet-if it's even available in the U.S.

With the 320+? HP I expect AWD,and I'd be very surprised if the car didn't trounce said Mitsu/Subie products....Ford is on their game right now.

And Ford FINALLY might not be afraid to step on the toes of it's beloved Mustang as far as performance goes..
Jeez you think that MIGHT be a different market Ford?

If I win Lotto I'll preorder one the first day that I can.
I could use a new daily driver.
And Good or bad-I'll review it first right here on RallyAnarchy-promise!
smiling smiley

Stepping out of LALA Land .......

I continue to check used pricing on the excellent Focus ST and Fiesta ST to see when one of them may become affordable for the common(poor) man but alas-as I expected they are not plummeting in price as soon as one drives off the lot as your typical Focus/Fiesta does.

So back to Craigslist..most likely pick up another 03' or 04' 2.3 powered ZX3 to supplant my current Rallyx/DD....yeah $2500-$3000..that's more like it!

If you're a COSTCO member, you can go through them. I got my Fiesta ST for just under $20,000. Saved about $3,000.

How is yours optioned?

I just built online and literally didn't click a penny's worth of options(and I don't want any anyway) and got $20,770 after incentives and D.C.

Can't you get them out of a vending machine? I saw something like this in Stutgart a few years back.

I took a silver one, wanted white but none on the lot. Mine is a base model, no expensive Recaros or GPS. Comes with electric windows, adjustable steering column. I didn't need one with all the bells and whistles. Aftermarket stuff, H & R lowering springs, FSWerks stainless cat back exhaust, stock wheels painted matte black and tomorrow will get the AccessPort for a little more fun! Fiesta ST and golf! Retirement is good for me!

Re: Focus RS

Am I kind of sick for kind of wanting a Fiesta SFE with Recaros and 16" wheels?

I could hoon the crap out that car on my 50 mile round-trip commute on country roads and "highway", get 40+ mpg, and nobody would be the wiser.

If I got an ST, I'd be arrested for DWFB (driving while flat-brimmed).
