so im parting out the focus build, and having mr Vurpa build a merkur he has rotting in his yard, seems more fitting to use it. this post is for you Mr. Vurpa, you can post anything you want here. we should probably start with a parts list, and btw, my childhood friend will likely be paying for half the car, so you will have some money rolling in soon! ready go

Too bad you didn't decide that six months ago.

Maybe you could buy it off Mark Hille as we still have to get it shipped out to him in Connecticut. Should be ready to ship after tomorrow though. On jack stands for brake bleeding and bolting a few things that are easier to ship bolted to car then stuffed into the passenger compartment (like exhaust and transmission/driveshaft.

You're not too old yet, I still have hopes one day you'll know what that means. Maybe if you look into the entry lists you'll realize no one is running those cars anymore. Unlike MK2's which were much better, just like me and Hurst said in the other thread. Fun car to troll around though, wish I still had my old one!

I wonder if this guy thinks I work for free?
Hey Riley, its more than 7 months since I billed you for the final payment on your suspension..
I now consider it abandoned.

And no deposit, not nothing on the maroon Xratty?

Abandoned.

Happens in all brands.
Look at the dozens of abandoned Subarus for sale.
Herds of Golves.

Your point?

John,

The suspension you have ready for him was/is for his (now abandoned) Focus project?

John,

The suspension you have ready for him was/is for his (now abandoned) Focus project?

Yeah... and he was lucky that all that is needed is sapping the 1 piece Focus top mount for the front struts to the 2 piece mount for an Xratty, the n change from rear upper pin mount to eyelets and one lower spacer.

But what am I to do?

he did run out after being notified the stuff was done and it was time to pay the second half---and bought a 2012 Subaru STI or something so I guess he's no serious and has no real intention of building a rally car...

I consider it abandoned after 7 months...

Am I harshing his mellow?
