intercom

So I just want an intercom to do intercom things. I don't need to call my mom while I am racing and I don't need to record my co-driver screaming in my ear.

thoughts on this?

That thing is cheap cheap cheap! Only drawback I can see is the volume knob controls both sides. It's nice having independent volume adjustments, as I never have mine set the same as the other goon in the car.

I've used one in Charles Sherrill's Evo. No problems whatsoever. Remember to carry a spare battery but battery life is long.

Good working intercom is a critical component. If the codriver has to wave his hands and yell, you won't make good times.

Also, squeeling interference in your headphones while you are concentrating on driving is a special level of hell.

Love me some Peltor….

If you dig around the interwebs and get lucky, you can find some industrial supply house that treats the peltor stuff like some 3M tool and sells it with some 3% mark up like a drill bit. not some 100%
+ OMGEEZ racing parts!!!?!!

I Bought 3 or 4 a couple years back and nearly paid for the one I kept by selling the others.
