Wheel stud replacements

Would like to use a longer wheel stud on our Impreza with the rounded end like on GM pickups.

What is recommended?

What about GM wheel studs?

I stopped collecting them when I had a Timken wheel hub box full of them. 12x1.5 and 14x1.5. Working in a repair shop, I get five or six free ones with every bad bearing or ABS sensor we do.

Bugpack M14 x 1.5 x 2.2" long, chase the hole and press them in. Give them a little zap just for security

These are my default stud and I use them on everything I can get my hands on
like Modded Toyota 8" axle going in Volvo

And Volvo fronts, of course:

There are available open end nuts with either VW ball seat or normal taper seat.
