Seat Sliders For Under Side Mount Seats
September 28, 2015 07:56AM
Hey, so has anyone had experience putting some sliders under the mounts for a side mount seat? I know for proper rally the seat needs to be hard mounted but for grassocross, pavement-slide-aroundocones and the like it'd be awesome to allow my wife to drive. (5'10 vs 6'4"winking smiley

Any good suggestions... or just buy some and make em work?

My original seat mounting set-up used the stock sliders to mount the seats to... was great! Could adjust for a similar height discrepancy. I used the bottom mounts on the seats.

I just made brackets to bolt to the seats to the sliders.

Then came the "no more sliders" and we got 2 yrs of just drill and put bolts in, so we could still adjust. Then that was over, fully hard mounted, and now to just get under the dash I have to pull the seats!
