Yeah, inverting it is a good idea. When i did mine like that, I had to roll the car onto it's roof to get a good bleed. Shoulda invertatated.

How about forgetting about the Hydro handbrake and learning how to drive?
There is one corner in Western Canada that might need a handbrake.

hmmm
flippin da master when u flip the handle assembly still leaves it facing up so no roofus bleeds req.
as for no need, well in understeery type situation a fwd with no diff may exp. a hand brake can get you pointed in the right direction to pull away from stuff hopefully instead of accepting you got it wrong. i like options when im driving to make that bitch behave. in a driving sense of course. having driven in edmonton enough on the streets with our well taught and focused winter driving community ive found the conventional e brake to have saved my ass a few time things were not possible to induce rotation in a pinch. i thought most thats what most fwd cars have em for. making it safer which is what the number 1 priority out there is correct?
lastly, when not on stage say doing grass o cross or ice o cross it makes for good fun and more responsive turn in with out using as much steering input.
these are what i knows
kieth can i mount it from the windscreen bar? its sooo good there except for if that bar collapses and it stabs me in the face like a convict in a lunch dispute. other wise its on an angle like the rest of the gang

If you are actually asking if you should put the handbrake on the roof of the car... then the answer is no. If nothing else, then I'd think the nightmare of routing brake lines alone would be a good deterrent.

As to being within the rules... ask the tech directors, not me. I'd be tempted to say it is unwise AND unsafe if you could come in contact with it in an accident. Rally America would probably have you put roll cage padding on it. (I had a team remove helmet hooks from a windhield bar once when I ran with them. (the open side of the hook was pointing towards the inside of the car)

This isn't the first time an Integra has been built (N3 homologated), so there must be a better answer out there.

A master cylinder and lever mounted on the roof? Is this on a car or a submarine?
