So, still think your less than 400$ mod is worth it? I think the toyota rear end is better for not significantly more. thats 780$ cad to my door for ring and pinion, bearing kit & that locker you wank about...

My idea was that enough isolationist Amercians would be motivated to produce American bricks & mortar and supply the American labour, thus stimulating American economic activity by creating American products and American jobs, paying American wages and those wage recipients paying American taxes to pay for American public services and healthcare. Admittedly I had imbibed a few ciders prior to posting last night, so in the sober light of day I see there may be flaws in that plan. How and ever, I hereby suggest the following back up: Population of planet = 7.5 billion Population of USA = 325 million With US foreign policy spreading such delightful peace and harmony to non- USAsians around the planet, I'd imagine there's potential for a global crowdfund where rather than donating cash, donors choose to give a breeze block. 7.175 billion breeze blocks bound to be a decent start.
