Wheel scrapers, show me yours

Last year at Sandblast rally the wheels filled with sand so badly that as you can guess, it created an awful imbalance. I need to fab up some wheel scrapers. Anyone have pics of theirs? Do they mount to the brake caliper carrier bolts? I'm sure there are many ways to do it. Also, is an insert used to it's not metal which does the clearing/scraping? These are going on an Audi so of course it'll be more cumbersome to fabricate than on a Subaru.

Mine are ghetto but they worked. If i wasn't in a time crunch I'd make the metal part plastic and removable. pics

Right on. That is a convenient extra bolt hole! What usually goes in there?
