You have no idea how happy this makes me. For some reason, I had it in my mind that the body was mostly metric, the motor mostly std, and I only have metric hardware here.

Out of curiosity, what is that big drain fitting?

1-1/16" if I recall... NPT into the block so it's pretty tight.

1/2" NPT into block. Oh and maybe the oil feed lines to the turbo aren't metric. I can't remember. It's standard brake line. Don't know if that counts at the oil feed comes off an adaptor on the head.

Damn, that crank pulley did not want to come off! Liquid wrench, torch, ended up needing some big tension from the 3 jaw and a few whacks from the BFH...man the small basement shop fills up quick!

All apart, contemplating whether to just rebuild it as stock, or work a bit more and drop in some real manly pistons and rods. Besides, with the nice weather we've been having here as of late, it's been mostly bodywork season...
