All XRATTY Constructurs READ and RESPOND
March 12, 2006 11:31AM
Hey the lids getting nailed on the crate.

Who wants 2wd Sapphire knuckles? Big Bearing, stronger all round, and has a TCA with a pinch fitment so we can make/mod fro replaceable ball joint using a sperical bearing.

Gotta get TCA to match.
The knuckles ARE SET UP for 4 piston calipers, the ears are stouter and are threaded for bolts----sumpin we have to do on the Xratty knuckles.

Who wants 3 door Cossie headlights? They're used and RHD but better than the plastic shit here. And I'm trying to get LHD lenses.
Don't dally about.

Scheduled for drop off on Thursday, 27 day transit.

Canuckles would be good, how hard is it going to be to find bearings for them (remembering Greg K but not sure he looked very hard....)

Yeah and... how much

The TCAs too? Or is that going to have to be at a later date?
How much for the knuckles?
I have headlights already.

Yes, thew whole bearing thing was just overblown groundless dogmatism, they are on the shelf at the local bearing place just 4 miles from here, but hell these things will doiubtless have approx 1 millions less miles than any Xratty bearings, UK is tiny, about the size of Toranto Metro area, they'd have to drive 24 hrs a day FAST, and they'd get dizzier than they normally do.
They'd have to drive home from the pubs cause they'd be too drunk to walk!

Ok, I'm in, but this will be it for a while! The crate coming to Toronto keeps getting heavier by the day...

Shit Paddy. I just wrote two more checks to credit card companies and completed March's payments. I have paid out nearly $2200 and my bank account is at -$997. Think about it this way. With every additional item, your rally car equity is gaining, though it depreciates, it's not as bad as buying a car. I say a less than 15 year old Audi that sold new for over $65K go for under $1000 recently on craigslist.

Yah, but my line of work doesn't pay as well as being a professional model. winking smiley

So this stuff should arrive just before I leave for school for the year, any chance of having some other major items ready to ship at the same time? (Beam, Motor Mounts, Brakes, Tranny/Diff Mounts, Sump Center support, Diff, Brake Pedal Box, Diff Adapters, Suspension bracketry, intercooler, rotated intake, whatever else I've laid out cash for/you have sitting with my name on it?

Are these indicative of what we are getting here John? Which raises a question in my head about halfshafts. But you say Sapphire, which I presume maybe you mean non-Cosworth, as the Cossie stuff looks different. Especially the stub shaft.

Well no shit huh. Yup, read it again, this time a bit more carefully. Okay. TCA. Yup. It's in the front. The STA is in the rear. Okay, so I'm a moron. I assumed the rear based on the ears for the calipers.
