E30 cage work
April 11, 2009 12:06PM
It is always good to have a team member that welds. Here's Mike Hooper's latest on one of our 325i parts cars that we decided to cage and run instead of one of our other shells:

"Talk about drugs. Driving a car like that, going that fast, it’s like all the drugs at once." - Tommy Byrne

"Now, Pinky, if by any chance you are captured during this mission, remember you are Gunther Heindriksen from Appenzell. You moved to Grindelwald to drive the cog train to Murren. Can you repeat that?" - The Brain

This one will shakedown as Combo car for RTN. Then it will probably compete at RWV, which will have No. 2 shaking down as Bike 0 at that event.

Suspension got put on this weekend, along with some exhaust and interior work.

Well, with the exception of one front strut - a Bilstein - which sheared at the threaded top part when being torque'd.
