Patrick posting from John's account here, as he's off cursing at something or other downstairs. Just got back from a day working on the first version of the rear beam made in the jig, it is AWESOME. Will have pictures of that tomorrow, but we also made up some of these today to let a person drop the steering rack without the motor...

Hope the kitties are keeping you warm at night. Looking good. For those chaps that don't know what they are looking at, here's a set in a car with a spare block. The stock motor mounts go to the crossmember and are pitiful and fail. These are copies of the Group A items.

Grant (Patrick again), I watched a box full of parts for a sump guard support and 6 tranny mounts get shipped to you on wednesday. Also hacked up the aluminium for a set of engine mounts, but got tied up working on the beam in the afternoon so they're not welded yet.

Yeah, because 110 degrees is sooooo much better. I guess Flag's not too far away and it's at least in the mountains and gets some snow in the winter.

This is the only part of the USA I would even consider living in.
I've lived in the South, the Atlantic seaboard between DC and fawkin Baaaawstin, in fawkin Southern California, Santa Cruz and Monterrey, Berkeley, San Jose and been thru Dennis Martin's beloved "Flyover" states andcan do without all of these places.

I LIKE treeeeees, and I like the fact that we're only about 1/3 goose stepping, straight arm saluting, zenophobic, racist idiots, where nearly all the warm parts of the country are 2/3s.

YOUSE Guys should think about where you live.

Trees, roads, green, and WATER in rivers lakes bays, sounds and OCEANS, all without whining simpering Californicators by the millions.

Aye. I've lived up there before and it was cold, wet, and expensive. Fortunately, I was but a wee lass and my parents (and Uncle Sam) paid for things. I am down for said plan to move the man. Perhaps we should offer reasons why it's better here than there...

1. NO RUST!
2. Manuel winking smiley Labor is cheap and readily available.
3. We have many cats.

Hahahahaha!
Funniest thing I've read today!

LA FTW!

No, I can't really comment on most other places. I driven all around this big ol place and seen a lot of towns but only briefly.

Wait. No whining, simpering Californicators....?

Moose. What are we trying to do? This is madness! I don't even like Mexican food! Grant has said that people are raped and murdered on his front porch, so Denver is out and I hear Salt Lake City is decent, but you have to be Mormon to get a good job (or pull off the multiple women thing properly), and there's no way in hell I'll ever end up back Kansas, so maybe Seattle isn't such a bad idea after all. LOL

What a great engine bay, I wonder whose car that could be.
Such a nice job on the custom brake lines from the dual masters too.
