From the first few pages that you can read through on amazon it seems like a pretty decent manual. Think it would be useful to one of those common blue car guys?

it's not as detailed as the original escort manual, but more detailed than the escort wrc 'manual' (which is basically a line-drawing parts catalog).

I bought one 'cause I like looking at the stuff in hard copy.

Just wait for SOPA to get passed smiling smiley, This place would probably get black listed for old dead links to no longer in print scanned copies of books.

And you learned one more lesson on exactly what the R party stands for: BIG intrusive Government out to protect corporate interest.

I find it interesting that it says to do the seam welding after the cage goes in (guessing to minimize any twisting issues). I've always had it in my head that its the other way around, but they have a bolt in cage eye popping smiley. How did they ever survivie...

Any thoughts on that order? Seems like it would be easier on a bare car to seam weld it, I'd think the cage would make the sills on the WRX a little hard to get to, not to mention the jungle gym behind the seats.
