I wasn't sure on Zimmers manual. I considered it until he said something on SS about not needing to seam weld and the old OL car I drove started to separate right around the tunnel where it meets the back. And as Grant pointed out I did a terrible job with a flux core welder on the car in the above pictures. Its what I had available to me....

One of the big areas I am wondering about is the radiator support since I have already kinda smashed it in some years ago...

I maintain you have to become one with the spot weld drill.
Drill out a fresh one in the rally Parts Storage depot that some fawkin cynics call junk yards, drill out yours, and zap it in.

The stitch it.
Stitch cross members, everything.

I welded in some 1.5"x2.5" tube where mine was then added some radiator and skid plate mounts. Its a little tougher then stock but should still bend pretty easy if needed to.

Were those lines moved in from under the car?

No they are inside the from the factory.

I would like to redo all of those lines but not very sure how exactly to do fuel lines.

Go buy a roll of 3/8 steel line at Napa, get a 37 degree flare tool from somewhere, adn but smoe AN bulkhead fittings, nuts, and sleeves. Braze ir tig AN male ends on the fuel rail and sender, and make a flex line from the bulkhead to the firewall. At the pump you may be able to use the stock end with the plastic line cut off, with a nice hose camp on the AN line.

No need to redo the fuel lines in a Subaru in my opinion. They're already inside the car. In a two door they will never be in the way either.
Was hoping to finish all but the gussets tomorrow. All but two bars are already built and just need welded in. Might go pick up a Tig welder today as Scott really wants to Tig the gussets and found a decent deal on a Hobart one.

Tig sold right away. $2k one for $800 so no surprise.
Going to work on cars tomorrow. Welcome to come down and help with the stripping of my GC. The proceeds from Tyler's car and my car are going to lift and Tig welder. Well some of mine has to go to a new car.
