Here's a pic of the notched a-pillar bar on p/s side. Has the max bend in the a-pillar bar to give plenty of room in cabin (and away from steering wheel on driver's side. X is slightly turned to move it outward just a touch so this works out perfectly.

Hey William did you send out those arms yet? The bastards at work have been hiding everyone's personal stuff.

No new pics. We finished welding the tops of the cage bars and will probably finish the whole cage in the first few weeks of January. Busy time of the year.

wow what a welcome...

You're welcome.
But are you trying to make a particular point of fighting the really rather simple rules?
These rules work. People have made connections to people in their areas when they don't play cutesies with their REAL location and write shit like "Wild West".

And the "READ THIS is kinda prominent...

Are you really complaining?

The real question is if Eric speaks Russian and French?

Haha. Google turned up an Eric Magnuson in Boulder that is majoring in Russian and French.
I'm coming up this weekend for Xmas. AJ Hakala is moving to Casper a week from today to start a new job so you'll have a great local codriver resource! He's been codriving with Mitch Williams for years. They won the USRC in their Open Class STI this year. I hope to finish up the cage by mid-January or so. Cage feet and we'll be ready to bang through the rest of the cage!

I'm kind of afraid of you finishing the cage because of what I still need to do and of course keeping the "wants" in check so Eric and I can make some events this year.

Is there a subaru "build manual" out there like for the ford cars? Trying to figure out what other parts of this shell need strengthening.

Hey John do you by chance make restrictors?

There's Randy Zimmers manual or CD but look the Ford books are so detailed that you can "import" the ideas there to basically any car.

And i have made some Misterbitchy restrictors before.
Goes best with the whole turbo for best transition between the restrictor and the housing...

I wouldn't bother with Zimmers manual. It's out of date.
there are a lot of impreza build journals on dirtyimpreza.com but some are more focused on the cool vinyl wrap than the build.... you've been warned.
