Yes, the floor looks clean enough to eat off prior to paint. Does everyone clean them up that well? I was going to just going to clean up the leftover tar, and slap paint on it. Yours looks so good though.

AJ, after cleaning the tar, I go over everything with a scotch brite pad and some laquer thinner. Prior to painting, scuff everything with 220, and hit the hard to sand stuff with a scotch pad, wax and grease remover just before painting. I will warn you, painting cages and interiors sucks...

Blake, this is the plan: i have the big wing, and may make a few tweeks to the paint scheme, but a replica of the McRae/Ringer works Ford Sierra is the goal.

It's painted!! Worked my ass off this week making this happen, I have 50 hours in it this week alone, above my regular job. I am whooped, but so worth it. After finishing the dark blue at 7pm, I decided to do the small light blue stripe, and small silver stripes in vinyl. It would take another 10 hours or so to paint them.

My vinyl came in today, so I did the light blue and silver stripes on the drivers side tonight.
