OK, I was gonna ax if you sent it yet.

You should have a BMW wheel on Friday.

So you did send it? (continuing the amusing one line chat format)

Lazy man's way: 2 big pieces of cardboard. place wheel on it , trace a circle. take out your shiv and make

Lazier man's cheaper way.
15X7 et 40 wheel
Cut a piece of cardboard that is 7" diameter.
Mark the center line.
Draw 5 dots at 5 X 120 PCD.
Cut another piece of cardboard that is 128.9 mm by 22" long.
Roll that around the inside of your circle to make a wheel looking thing.
Voila.

Or you can just stop at the circle and use a tape measure to figure out the distance from the mounting face of the wheel to where the inside lip of the wheel would sit.

Of course, it's just money, so send wheels and parts back and forth between Denver and Seattle. winking smiley

Product Description
Car builders and fabricators in a variety of motorsports including rally, sports car, and SCCA now have a unique shock option available to them, thanks to a new design from BILSTEIN motorsports engineers. The engineers developed a new universal 46mm motorsports strut line featuring BILSTEIN’s inverted tube technology to provide race car builders a wide selection of travel lengths and valving options, for building custom chassis where a bolt-on application would not work.

This semi-complete package can be adapted to most MacPherson strut suspension systems. Each strut is supplied with a matched external housing that permits the builder to fabricate weld tabs for mounting the unit to a vehicle’s lower steering knuckle. The strut insert is provided with a blank upper-stem that can be machined down to fit a specific top mount or camber/caster plate variation.

Utilizing the same technological design advantages as their gas pressure shock absorbers, the BILSTEIN monotube strut insert is installed with the piston rod at the base of the strut tube. Here the rod is completely protected from road contamination of any kind. Plus, the hard-chromed steel body of the damper provides superior strength to withstand the extreme side loads encountered in competition, delivering exceptional stability and greater performance.

In some ways Bilstein US marketing dept is like Rally America and the media people up North. They just have to fuck with shit to make it easy for 'Merikuns..
And thereby fuck everything up.

The PISTONS inside are 46mm. The tubes outside are 50mm
The "Family" is the "B-46" family traditionally
The go into tubes that are 62mm OD

The "40s"--and Ford 909 Sierra spec 41mm OD things are the (traditionally) B (or P) 36 family and go into tubes that are 52mm OD.

Of course Marketing boys call the shocks--remember the inserts are just modded shocks---sometimes 46mm bodies--sometimes 2"..

He's just been waiting on you to send his new inserts I think? Scott's like me, he just waits and doesn't hassle. Though I should probably get in touch with William and find out what's up with rear arms and beam stuff...
