Rally Anarchy, where our cars almost go as sideways as our topics.

John do you need me to buy some more of the shocks to make this run a little more worth it? I also have some other stuff to send up: volvo spindles, rubber plugs for chroming and a check to settle my bill

I'd love a set of fronts for an E36 BMW while you are at it.

Red thing is slowly coming together. I looked at it yesterday. Probably going to do some stuff on it Saturday.

The 50s would be for the green thing that I'm putting together for a future customer or rallycross car.

someone asked a while ago as to why high zoot competition suspension would not be applicable to a daily driver road car...I have the same general noobish question.. assuming rates and valving were liveable ...is it that the seals required to keep a strut happy for 50-60k have too much stiction for a rally set up or is it possible to make a great set of "suspenders"smiling smiley for a daily driver that won't need to be taken off every year and sent to the damper spa... or is the explanation too long to bothersmiling smiley

They cost a lot more than taking a hunk of exhaust tubing and pouring some past sell by date soy oil in and a disc with a hole and a 020" washer and calling it a strut..

Once you have gone and filled in the full name and full location in the name thing there (our only rule we really care about) come back and tell me: you need daily driver road car suspenders that are Soooper Bitchin?
No problem.

So for cost reasons, the recommendation is to go for exhaust tubing and soy oil? smiling smiley

For what it's worth, I've driven my rally car 100s of miles to rallyx events on the DMS suspension. It's a bit firm, but I could live with it.

Tim.
