Get on it! Loving your build! Makes me wanna sell my Subaru...
:-o

I am one of the few 20 year olds who could actually make a solid argument for running a subie for myself due to some resources... i'm not. You to need volvo! They grow on you, i promise.

Either that or keep your subie and convert it to rwd...http://www.ppgearbox.com.au/page.asp?productid=72

They make one for 6 speeds too!

Turrets/ towers welded in for the most part. Cage is close.

Looks very nice Eric!

just curious if you are planning on doing "kicker" tubes from the turret tops down to the base of the main hoop?

I think I know what your talking about. Probably although I question how much benefit it is to have those?

It'll make the whole dealio way stronger and stiffer. I'd definitly recomend it, even just some 1 inch diameter tubing will do if you are weight obsessed. I'd throw some brackets of some sort between the tops of the towers to the wheel well, because in rally, overkill is usually just about enough...

The tubes coming up and back from the base of the main hoop.
Reverse back stays? Double secret stays..

How are you progressing Al?

Had a second look at it and yea actually I can see some benefit in the stiffness department. And if Olli has it so will I! Well actually I won't, that car is beyond my meager means.

Al don't worry the towers will be very well gusseted.

"Larger motor, larger turn radius, mmmm yes stay the course mount your horse!!!"

That was beautiful and surpassingly accurate. hahahhaa grinning smiley

Though porking 210lb renn fair chicks into the ample back seat is no longer an option here.... Im ok with that.

Well I actually have enough for an update so here we go. turrets need a little more welding but car is drivable. Drove it around today. Still is a beater but oh well, should be interesting when the front suspension goes on it. Yes that is snow and that photo was taken april 18th or 19th. We also had snow after this. angry smiley

John also sent some goodies, rear shocks are in the car!

Cage complete minus gussets and harness bars.

keep in mind the tabs on the axle are not all that well done because this axle is there temporarily. Me wants to use yoda axle.
