Stitch welding 1991 Honda crx before or after cage?

Anyone glue instead of stitch weld with unibody/aircraft glue??

You mean like the car manufacturers? Like the stuff we are removing so we can weld properly to make it last longer and be easier to repair?

From a guy that built up an EK honda. I caged it, then stich welded it.

I didn't do anything to reinforce my front subframe or rear subframe control arm mounts but I did stitch weld both sub frames. Haven't had issues with tearing on LCA mounts. I did plate the tops of both shock towers.

I can get you build pictures from my special stage thread, but won't be until I get home.

Thanks for the heads up billy, I do have your build book marked and am going to go cage first, I'm awaiting this partner I. Crime to give me a date on liq nit the seam sealer out and don't wanna wait. I'm trying to figure a way to put in a dash bar and front strut mount bars to the dash bar but there's so much damned stuff on this little firewall making a straight or triangulated to be beneficial is almost fruitless..I'm thinking downward to the cage feet.. Had. Bit of a break installed gas and upgraded electric service to weld. Back to it tonight.
