Who knows? I've got the aluminumumum bolt hood pins and they are about the only unbroke part on the front of the car. The plate/pin pulled through the fiberglass hood, bolts still attached to the rad support

It's just the way it is, in my state we are lucky enough to be able to rego some pretty full-on rallycars. there a a few hoops to jump but they are pretty reasonable. They are worried about pedestrian V car accidents. It's BS when you can have any bullbar/lights/spare wheel/entrenching tools etc on the bonnet of your fourby. A couple of pins on a vehicle that sees such limited use aren't going to do much but so what I'll save my fights for when they matter. JVL Wombats..... fark that! Those little monsters are like boulders with legs, they may even give your sooper bitchin struts a bit of a touch up on a good day!
