Hub centric ring question?
August 14, 2007 01:13AM

Have two sets of rims; one set of 15 inchers with nearly new set of kumho street tires and another set of 16inch konig rims with brand new set of Pzeros both of whom that do not seat at hub. If all continues going well i am planning on running RNY which consists of tarmac stages the first day. Is there any harm running rims that do not seat at the hub? (The hub centric adapters that came with the konigs which i did not get were rubber only!)
I ve been running the 15s on the street with no problems...
I am also aware of this being previously discussed on SS amd other forums but could not come up with a proper conclusion. I would like to run the 16s. Whats your take on it?

The hub pilot does nothing once the lugs are tight.
