thinking on front suspension I start to wonder what the cortina works cars were running for brakes and spindles I've read that on a race one hit 149 mph back in 1967 with a BDA engine
does anybody have intel on these parts would make things much simpler, the weight of my new drivetrain is less than stock

been looking a lot on interweb found a escort mk2 front suspension made by rix sold by motorsports looks like the only mod would be to extend rack and pinion length anyone ever hear about this?

Don't get addicted to finding one wif stock rear discs. Just get on--a core..Find one and i can mod it to work (bolt circle and brake set up.). Remember they're going to have some whacked bolt circle on the axles and the discs etc...

That'll mean you better settle on a bolt circle.

There's info around on length flange to flange for the various axles from pick ups or 4 runners
