my reservation with the 2.3t is there are no more turbo coupes or xr4s around here any more
when the times comes and i can find one i may go that direction

the 3.8s are easy to get and cheap

for now the 5.0 is in the hole and ready to go

my focus is on the chassis and better subframe connectors

i'm thinking of replacing the 1"x2" laid on its side with 2"x3" on its end run from firewall to torque box

I would rather drive a slow car fast as a fast car slow!

i have not had any time to work on my fox build, but i did pick up a 2k "new edge" mustang (same basic chassis with lots of refinement) in a trade a couple weeks ago. this is a 3.8l v6 with a 5 speed. i can really see a v6 rally car in the future now, it rolls off a corner with enough torque then pulls hard in the mid range. this car has 3.27 gears but with a set of 3.73s or 4.11s it could be a beast. but for now it's a street car.
